“Bonnie Scotland”
Acrylics on canvas, gloss varnish finish.
Model standing in front of Scotland’s Forth Rail Bridge and Forth Road Bridge with a Robertson’s tartan bikini.
This is the first painting that I have ever created using real life skin tones due to my colour blindness. I feel that this piece has turned out to be one of my best to date and will be experimenting with skin tones and real life colours that I can try and re-create in the future.
Over one hundred hours to complete.

Dude, don't even consider the color blindness to be too much of an obstacle, you've got the skin tone pretty much down. Just keep it up, okay!? Oh, by the way, I've got your belated christmas day gift done finally. Send me your address, and don't worry about shipping costs or anything.

Hey, sorry it's been taking this long to get your artwork, I've just been going through a "my art sucks" phase right now and I don't feel the piece I did for ya is a good representation of myself or my work. Don't worry, I'll eventually get through this and become a working machine at some point, and you will get a piece from me worthy of being hung in your home (or wherever you like). Hope you and the family are doing ok.
